Lytham Green
Take the long way around.
Stretching alongside the Ribble Estuary, Lytham Green is one of the town's defining features — a huge open space separating the town from the water.
It's made for morning walks, lazy afternoons and those evenings when the sun comes out and you don't quite want to head inside yet.
And standing proudly on the Green is Lytham's most recognisable landmark.
Lytham Hall
Lose yourself for an afternoon.
Just beyond the town centre sits one of Lytham's most impressive historic treasures.
Lytham Hall is an 18th-century Georgian house surrounded by approximately 78 acres of historic parkland, with woodland, gardens, lakes and more than four kilometres of pathways to explore.
Wander through the grounds, discover the history of the estate or simply enjoy somewhere a little quieter for the afternoon.
Lowther Gardens
A little green in the heart of town.
Established in the 19th century, Lowther Gardens is Lytham's oldest park and remains a much-loved green space close to the town centre.
With mature trees, lawns, gardens and the neighbouring Lowther Pavilion, it's an easy place to add to a day exploring Lytham.
Take a wander, find a bench and stay for a while.
Fairhaven Lake
Watch the world go by.
Set between Lytham and St Annes, Fairhaven Lake offers a beautiful waterside escape overlooking the Ribble Estuary.
Walk around the lake, enjoy the gardens, watch the wildlife or make an afternoon of it with the recreational activities available around the park.
It's another reminder that you don't have to travel far to find a little peace and quiet around here.
